Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary in Chittoor

Located in Palamaner in Andhra Pradesh, The Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary is 50 kms from Chittoor. The wildlife sanctuary covers an area of 358 sq kms. The sanctuary houses a number of animals and birds. It is a must-visit for all nature and wildlife lovers.

While on one side, tourists get to enjoy some time close to nature, on the other hand, they get to see endangered spices in their natural habitats. Some wild animals which the sanctuary houses include Chital, Antelopes, Sambhar, Mouse Deer, Hare, Porcupine, Wild Boar, Jungle Cat, Sloth Bear, Panther, Elephants and Jackal.
